A : 1) How does the CI tape and strip work?
: The CI tape is a polyester-based product printed with blue indicator lines. The unprocessed blue indicator lines is changed to pink or purple when exposed to hydrogen peroxide during the sterilization process by HMTS. The CI tape is used to verify the fact that hydrogen peroxide contacts the surface of the pouches during the sterilization process, whereas CI strip for inside the pouches.

2) What is the shelf-life and storage condition of the CI?
: CI tape --- 18 months from the date of manufacture
: CI strip --- 24 months from the date of manufacture
: Keep it away from hydrogen peroxide and alkaline chemicals to avoid any change of
 the color of the unprocessed CI tape.

3) Can the CI tape and strip of HMTS be used in any other kinds of sterilizers?
: No. It is only for HMTS series.

4) Does the CI tape and strip have light sensitivity?
: No. It is not light sensitive.

5) Do we have to use the CI tape and strip together at all times?
