HMTS, designated as certified product for ‘2002 Korea Industrial Design Awards’

HMTS of HUMANMEDITEK Co., Ltd, low-temperature plasma sterilizer for medical practice, was designated as certified product for ‘2002 Korea Industrial Design Awards (KIDA)’

"KIDA issued certificates for 104 products "

‘2002’ Korea Industrial Design Awards(KIDA)’ which select significant products with excellent design among new products designed and produced by Korean designers and manufacturers, designated 104 products in 5 areas.

In this event, joint-hosted by JoongAng Ilbo and Korea Association of Industrial Designers(KAID) and sponsored by MOCIE and Seongnam City, more than 80 companies participated with 260 products.

A board of 8 judges including Seong-su Hong (Head of the board), professor in Industrial Design School of Chungang University, said that they put more stress on creativity, human friendly, aesthetic harmony and quality enhancement.

Certified products are;
▶for daily products area, LG Sapce Dios refrigerator and other 61 products

▶for industrial and office products area, Samsung Electronics Laser Multi-function machine and other 19 products

▶ 18 furniture and environment-related products

▶2 transportation devices

▶4 items for other area. Those products are now eligible to have ‘'KIDA 2002' certification mark on them.

The list containing all of the certified companies will be posted on JoongAng Ilbo’s Ad plaza (http://www.ad.joins.com) and KAID’s homepage(www.kaid.or.kr) on this 20th. Winner products will be selected among those certified products to have a conferment ceremony on 13th and exhibitions in Seongnam Korea Design Center in 13th through 17th.
